Service Description

In yoga, we practice embodiment, deeply feeling the experience of the moment. When enhanced by gratitude, we can gain peace of mind through appreciation & contentment. Take time to slow down, calm the nervous system and enter into a state of receptivity, where the body releases tensions & we hear the whisper of the heart. The passive Yin & Restorative poses will go deeper to the inner layers (ligaments, tendons, bones & deep fascia) with a focus not only on the lungs & large intestine, dominant organs of autumn, but also the heart where compassion, understanding & kindness reside. These longer held poses allow the body to clear toxins, stagnation & unnecessary holding patterns for healing & nourishment of the inner self. After settling with slow, steady, stress reducing longer held poses, we will get completely comfortable with Yoga Nidra, a gentle meditation that relaxes & releases each layer of the body & mind. Optional essential oils offered. All levels welcome. Please bring yoga mat, blankets & water.
