How to achieve your Goals

We all know the importance of exercise and movement, not only for our physical bodies but also our mental well-being. It doesn't matter how you move, you just need to keep moving. Right? We also understand the importance of goals, as I talked about in a previous email. The goal is the vision. It's where you want to end up at the end of the journey. (Side note: make sure to find joy in that journey :))

But it begs the question, how do you get the results you desire? What are the keys to success??

Consistency and Focus.

If you want to run a marathon, you need to run and train almost daily to achieve that goal. If you want to lose weight, you will inevitably need to eat healthier foods and most likely less food everyday. No matter what your goal is, there needs to be consistency in the execution. It is the foundational building blocks that you lay down daily in order to reach the desired goal. Consistency IS the backbone for developing good habits, momentum, discipline and ultimately success!

Along with consistent behavior comes focus. When you are 100% mentally focused on your goal, success is certain. It's inevitable!

When your focus is aligned with your actions and goals, you are destined for great results. As motivational speaker Tony Robbins says,

"Your energy flows where your attention goes".

Take time to prioritize your goals and self growth. Do things that feel good and fill you with pride, joy and self-confidence.
